Advantages of Bergstrom NITE System

Bergstrom NITE system is equipped with independent battery as auxiliary power to cool the cab. The truck engine will charge the auxiliary battery during driving hours and the battery will power the NITE system in the parking time.

To protect the battery and optimize the cooling effect of the NITE system, Kenworth consolidated the truck battery management to ensure enough power for NITE system and engine start. The truck battery is charged quickly during truck running hours. After four and a half hours, the battery will be charged to 90%.

The battery-powered no-idle system helps save fuel and keeps drivers comfortable and helps protect the environment.
