On March 5th 2015 Bergstrom China held six sigma projects kick off meeting. Bergstrom President & CEO Mr. Jack Shaffer, Bergstrom China general manager Mr. Patrick Bai, the dept managers and six sigma black belt employees attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Patrick Bai pointed out that six sigma is a comprehensive system to make overall business improvement. It is a highly disciplined approach with top management involvement and commitment and total employee engagement. Mr. Jack Shaffer commented that we integrate six sigma into our business strategy and we look forward to the successful implementation of Bergstrom China six sigma projects.
In recent years, Bergstrom China designed six sigma training plans, offered training courses to employees and released incentive policies and performance evaluation policies. Currently Bergstrom China has 7 black belts and 3 green belts. This year we will train another 4 black belts and 3 green belts. 2015 is the first year of six sigma projects kick off. We have already selected 7 projects focusing on improving quality capabilities and cost competence. These are the 1st group of projects to progress continuous improvement and sustain business success.
