Caterpillar’s Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) program began in 2007. Suppliers are certified through SQEP by meeting or exceeding stringent supplier performance standards, including not only product quality and service but also cost control and delivery.
 

Manufacturers have to achieve bronze level or above before they can be Caterpillar's strategic suppliers, gaining a platform to grow together and more business and broader cooperation.
 

In 2008, Bergstrom earned the bronze level for the first time. Since then, we have been committed to improving everything we do continuously to provide stellar products and service to our customers. Finaly in 2019, we were awarded SQEP silver level again. From the bronze level to the silver level, multiple awards witnessed the continuous improvement of Bergstrom in product quality, production management, and shipping performance.
