2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Bergstrom (USA). To walk you through the 70-year history of the company, we’ve prepared the following pictures.
 

 
In 1949, Bergstrom was founded in Rockford, within the Greater Chicago Area in Illinois, U.S. and it manufactured heaters at that time; since 1971, Bergstrom began supplying world’s leading truck brands such as Kenworth and Volvo with HVAC systems.

To deal with the issues of high energy consumption and low efficiency when idling diesel vehicles with the air-conditioning on, Bergstrom developed a parking cooler in 2003, providing more comfortable cab environment for truck drivers while the trucks are parked or stuck in a traffic jam in hot weather.

Being cost-saving, safe and green, Bergstrom’s parking coolers have become one of the most preferred OEM products by Kenworth, Peterbilt, Navistar, International, Freightliner, Volvo, DAF, Daimler, MAN, Scania, Iveco, and Renault, and enjoy the highest European and American market share.
 

In 2016, Bergstrom China launched the first real “parking cooler” PK2000 in China. Now, this rooftop parking cooler can be applied on many models made by Chinese truck manufacturers.

PK2000 parking cooler fits not only many Chinese truck models such as Jiefang, Dongfeng, Shanqi, JAC, BeiBen, Foton Daimler, Sinotruk, XCMG, Hyundai, Liuqi, CAMC, and JMC, but also imported trucks such as DAF, MAN, Daimler and Scania.
 

 
As of 2018, the global sales volume of Bergstrom’s parking coolers has exceeded 300,000 units.
